![]() ![]() After passing a few obstacles (including an Eye), you will reach a room filled with beds. After passing the Leeches section and passing onto the next, Six can see the Janitor in the far background dragging a cage with what looks like a child inside of it. The Janitor is the first monstrous humanoid that Six encounters on The Maw. The Janitor has a smooth scalp, ages caucasian skin sagging over his eyes, crooked teeth, normal ears/nose, a button-up suit (which suits his long arms), long arms, very small legs, a brown hat atop his scalp, a name-tag, small brownish-green pants, and brown shoes. In his room, much of the furniture seems to have been made to suit his specific anatomy, having very tall drawers and shelves meant to be reached by his incredibly long hands. He has a room full of dolls which he checks on regularly, as well as a room full of clocks and even a library. In his free time, he wanders the lower part of the Maw, tending to it's different parts. He finds them crawling around, puts them in a prison, and then later puts them in meet sacks that are sent to the kitchen to be cooked. He isn't able to handle any sort of loud noise, making such loud noises will distract him from dealing with any nearby children that may have caused it.Īlthough his title is "The Janitor", his main job on the Maw seems to be capturing and imprisoning children. The player can shine a light in his face and he won't be able to tell. Having his view being taken away by the skin being drooped over his eyes, his other senses are incredibly heightened (most notably his hearing). He uses his long arms to compensate for his lack of eye-sight. He uses them to climb around the Maw, allowing him to go from floor to floor. The Janitor's main "gimmick" is his abnormally long arms. This tells us that he was possibly a past Patient and/or Viewer that was experimented on by the Doctor. We know that he came from The Pale City, as we see his face displayed in The Hospital. The official site refers to his past using words like "forgotten" when referring to his past, implying that he may have either been forgotten or that he forgot his past. The history of this character's past is hinted at in a number of occasions, but not all of these hints are found in game. ![]() 3.2 Little Nightmares: Secrets Of The Maw. ![]()
